Partnering with KAUST, AlshrouqExpress has initiated a pilot program for last-mile autonomous delivery. The UNO Commuter, a purpose-built autonomous vehicle, now serves 60+ daily deliveries across KAUST's. Our CEO, Ahmad Khanfar, looks forward to understanding resident responses and user experiences with autonomous deliveries.
The pilot is also expanding to include additional households, allowing residents to interact with the vehicle through SMS and the touchscreen interface on the UNO. This project aligns with the evolving global trend of increased online shopping and contactless services.
